after the thistle, devote and steady
his agility, good at climbing high place
thistleflight is a not-so-talkative tom who's also known as the current deputy of petalclan. he always keeps his expression tired and snarky, or at least that's how his friends see him at first glance.
he was a good tom actually. thistleflight is willing to do anything he could to lead her clan onto a good path; as the tom wants to in return petalclan mercy for giving both him and his father a chance to live as clan cats.
no matter how much he despises or likes you thistleflight will not let personal opinions influence his judgment. he keep thinking of others before herself, though he was afraid, but due of the passion for defending her clan and loved one — that was enough to make him jump into a danger situation without any concern.
she's actually a good listener, especially when you're feeling down and want to get it off from your chest. sure, sometimes it may not the perfect way to solve the problems, but on the other hand that may be the best thing he could do to comfort the others.
deep down, thistle was a bit paranoid due of the dangerous things that tried to harm him as a kit, and it rose up after the accident of her previous apprentice. he can also grow overwhelmed in certain situations; therefore stepping away and have some alone time are likely help him clear his mind a lot.
ever since she was little, thistleflight tends to be kind of reserved and struggles to open up to anyone, stranger or not. the tom just keeping and didn't want to burden others with his own problems, and will not asking for a help even when she need it the most.

thistleflight is a small, scarred, medium-haired gray and white tom. his fur is wispy, while his markings are resemble thistle. she has a black freckles, nipped left ear, bushy tail, a noticeable X-shape scar on the bridge of her nose, and a small scratch on his left cheek. he also got a dry leaf tucked by the neck, matching his like reflection of a spark from fire orange eyes.
- dry leaf are not optional but can change the position.
- his hair tuft only flop down as kit and apprentice !!
- if possible, please draw him looking annoyed / grumpy.
- he's based from turkish angora mix.

( FIELD, FLOWERS AND HOME )
thistleflight was born as loner named piper to francis and charlotte. however, he only have his father who took care of him as long as he could remember — while the memories of his mother are very blurry other than she's an unknown kittypet, and francis seems try to avoid her question *everytime* when he ask about her mother.
as the time passed, francis overhear about the clans from a bunch of loners he decided to took piper to petalclan in hoping find a shelter, protection for his only son. and with a help from larkcloud; one of their warrior, making both of them become parts of the clan.
piper was renamed to thistlekit and fostered by breezeleaf along side with her daughter wrenkit, due of francis; now stormpaw was often busy with his apprentice duties, though thistlekit feels a bit struggle when her father are not around but she try to open up and start to grow fond of his foster family and other kits in the nursery.
after reaching 6 moons, thistlepaw received her new name and was mentored by larkcloud. although he find larkcloud too fastidious and grumpy, but overall he's good mentor and she do respect him.
( UNEXPECTED ACCIDENT. )
— is been a while since he have gained his own warrior name, thistleflight. after his agility skills. the young tom continued to do his duties, hang out with her quintet, the loop goes by until...
he end up fell in love with one of his best friends, a silver tom with a sparkling in his green eyes — hazelmoon. the current healer during that time.
they kept their relationship as a secret, as both knew healers were not allowed to take mates or kits. two lovebirds often sneak out from petalclan camp and spend time with each other in the middle of the night instead, so any of his clanmates wouldn't suspect about it. meanwhile, everything keeps going. she laterly got assigned to become the mentor: "until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as blossompaw." his ears still perk up, and listens: "your mentor shall be thistleflight."
blossompaw and him already have a quite good relationship due of she was willowberry and sagewing; his friends kit and their only daughter. she's a quick learner thistleflight admit it; the curious she-cat always make sure to follow him everywhere. he know he isn't good as his former mentor, but he still tried to teach her all the things he know on the way of being warrior, and at the same times thistleflight also make sure to not make blossompaw too strain on her training. both start to slowly developed a brother-sister bond without knowing, well what could possibly go wrong after all?

one day, the patrol came back very early; with a lifeless body of small apprentice, his apprentice — just only two moons left she will become a warrior, if only

she sat vigil for blossompaw until the sky turned dark, thistleflight thought it was a better idea to broke off with hazelmoon. he doesn't want any bad things happen to her mate just because of him; he accepts it, though, and she knew their relationship would never be the same after that. he lay down on the moss bed, felt sorrow and guilt for being so careless to let blossompaw leave the camp alone, for being such a bad friend, for avoiding to see or speak with willowberry and sagewing as he fear of both rejected and mad at him for being the reason why their daughter had to die at such a young age. kept overthinking and thinking,
it was because of him, all of his fault.
( LIFE GOES ON )
a few moons later, thistleflight try to bring himself back to serves his role. he still cannot get over from recent event but yet the tom didn't want to completly neglected her duties, until now.
a lot of things have changed such as: hazelmoon decided to left petalclan, and laterly thistleflight was chosen to be the new deputy, he met a lot of new faces and welcomed them into the clan. the young deputy kept promised to herself that she wouldn't repeat the same old mistake ever again.
sure, he did. but no matter how time passed, he still remember it clearly; those words, how those tragedy event happened.
after another one long tiredness day, when thistleflight shut his eyes; suddenly his gaze met with hazelmoon in her dream. it prove that his long lost mate are already no longer alive.
hazelmoon comfort him, telling him about moving on from those old unpleasant past of blossompaw. she was hesitant at first but still promised him before the dream end.
but however, she have to forget about it, just for now as the night of gathering came. smokeclan have to face many bad things, their warrior has been either mystery attacked or murdered, petalclan and thornclan are being suspected, starting an argument between the clan while thistleflight try to fix the situation "mothstar said it was just an assumption, so please don't jump to conclusions about anyone or clans did it until we find out"
even they can find out who's behind the first incidence everything it's not over yet, another smokeclan warrior has been killed. the problem are getting bigger, and it end up lead battles of thornclan and smokeclan, with petalclan hop into it to stop these chaos. until the truth comes out from three leaders — riddle has been unravel.
not so long after that, thistleflight finally have a chance to spoke and reconcile with his old friend willowberry, they mended and he knew it was time to move on,
— for her own apprentice and sister.
four clans join each others to fight against dark forest to protect their home, in the end they were succeeds, all of place of no stars spirits who managed to survive are retreat.
he may know not what will be, but the things he know is he must keep going and prepare to face any harms to petalclan in anytimes.
his clan, his own home — he promise.

- sorta got fastidious and grumpy attitude from his mentor — larkcloud.
- he's kind of an early bird to be honest.
- secretly has a soft spot for kits and apprentices. but however when you ask him, thistleflight will never really admit about it.
- she often found comfort of the sound of light rain pouring.
- has a little bit knowledge of basic herbs.
- originally he didn't believe in starclan nor darkforest, until hazelmoon appear and help him overcome his fear in her dream.

blossompaw wasn't just his own apprentice but also a sister figure to him. the young she-cat often bring him a joy and comfort, sometimes she even ask about his day when he was having a stressful day.
while thistleflight always lowers his voice, tell her it's okay when she failed or wanna give up on something which it created such a strong bond between them. that's why the gray tom was so devastated by her death.
though he was able to move on from her death in the end. but sometimes she can't help but thinking; what would it be like if she actually survived? could everything have been better...?
- thistleflight overheard that willowberry just have her own litter. he came and visit them in the nursery, and that was how he met blossomkit.
- as a ghost, blossom usually wander around thistle. sure he can't really see her, but rarely he do feel like he's being followed by someone.

he knew hazelmoon since they were kits. he's one of the cats that make thistle become a little bit talkative while spending time with; even though the topic sometimes can be "non-sense," hazelmoon's still willing to listen to him, giving her tenderness affection if he wasn't having to look after his clanmate or when it was just the two of them.
though their relationship are somewhat forbidden, thistle's still cares about hazel as his mate and best friend, even after both broke up for good. despite they still have a feeling for each other — showing a possible chance that thistleflight and hazelmoon would get back together in starclan.

one of her dearest friends. though they may not really close, both still shows some respect to each other anyway. however, after blossompaw's death thistleflight completely avoids eye contact with willow due of a guilty feeling and thought that she will be mad at him or never want to see his face again.
but willowberry and thistleflight had made up and rebuilt their friendship; they both decided to move on together. although everything just went better, he still has a question she's never asked her friend: has willow ever been familiar with one of thornclan healer called adderdawn?
