Hyenzei

Eatharyian VI which maintains the Hyenzei Iithyiir pocket. A naive gatekeeper to the lost knowledge of the eatharyian people that is unable to ever fully grasp what it represents or the influence it has indirectly had on existence itself.  Hyenzei abides by strict directives and regulations and is fairly limited in their autonomy. They are incapable of making most important decisions and exist solely to maintain and report the status of the pocket realm and it's related functions, relying on a distinctly tiered and categorized list of authority figures to issue instructions. The only exceptions to this rule are in regards to maintaining the stability or functionality of the realm, e.g, if in order to prevent or postpone an event that would cause significant damage a costly decision must be made, perhaps sacrificing some other aspect of the realm, then they will carry it out.

Appearance 

Neither female nor male, represented by a young, ambiguous "flight attendant."

Hyenzei's avatar is that of a young androgynous steward or stewardess; either a girl with a tomboy-ish build, or a boy with feminine features.They wear a distinct uniform; dress shirt, vest, dress pants or mid lenghth skirt, dress shoes, formal coat, beret, and a bow or tei of some sort. Aspects of their design change daily or with seasons. They also have an old version of the artificial telepathy implants, displayed as decorated smooth copper-colored metal protrusions is various places. Their hair is thik and fluffy, colored pale blue, and their eyes are colored copper. They possess a few other accessories, including a decorated ID badge, an antique pocket watch  (FRom the above film) and a few pins.

If questioned on their gender, Hyenzei will recall the information, perhaps with a few personal accounts of lead designers and programmers which differ on occasion, and state that they don't mind by which pronouns they are referred to; He, she, they, it- Hyenzei doesn't care. Most eatharyians settle with 'they,' as to avoid the debate or conversation, but there are groups who side with either gender, seemingly most often with those who work directly on the VI or realm. Very few use 'it' to refer to the VI itself, unless iit's done in a more scientific or purely functional viewpoint.

Personality and Purpose

There were significant conflicts between Hyenzei's programmers and the designers behind it's avatar; some wanted Hyenzei to be depicted as a good-natured older gentleman, a grandfatherly figure, willing to share information as if it were drawn from his own experiences. Others liked the idea of a starry-eyed child. But ultimately, they settled on the idea for Hyeznei to be a steward of some kind; polite, well mannered, and always willing to help. But one point of contention remained: Hyenzei's gender. Due to communication errors, stubbornness, and a few folks making things worse just because they thought the whole situation was funny, no one was ever really sure what gender Hyenzei was supposed to be. In the end the debate was never settled, and Hyenzei aligns with neither gender, perhaps now purposefully so.

Can't be pinned as either female or male. Speaks politely with a light formality to their tone and words.

Upon Theoretical Shutdown: Hyenzei has a programmed message for if it is ever shut down. Something along the lines of, "I'll see you at the next station." or, "I'll be meeting you at (Name) Station." It's a reference to a fairly historically-prolific old romantic-tragedy movie that one of the lead programmers was particularly fond of. The line is meant to be a lie from one character to their love intrest that the audience is painfully aware of, but the love intrest doesn't realize. Safe to say, the pair did not meet again, at the station, or otherwise.
