FORM PMR-1014B: Behavioral information of dittech holder.

Personality

CURIOUS - ENERGETIC - ABSENTMINDED - GULLIBLE - IMPULSIVE

Guppy is, by all accounts, a wildcard. A strong example of what happens when you give a low intelligence pokemon a dittech, he’s a slow adjuster to his newly found intellect(and arms). Distinctly absentminded, he often comes off as childish and impulsive, acting on instinct rather than thinking things through. Consider him a student in normalcy- though a very, very new one, and a very, very slow learner at that.

His behavior is unpredictable at its best, careless, destructive, easily excitable. He’s disconcerting, and often times scary, eager to cause problems for a laugh and quick to get himself into trouble. Despite being such a small, cute pokemon, Guppy has been forced to adapt to survive, resulting in a lot of tendencies that don’t translate as desirable in a human. He’s confident in his own abilities, but undeniably naive and gullible, falling for simple ruses and often times getting himself hurt in the process of his own mischief. He gravitates towards danger, too stubborn to take well-meaning advice and too competitive to give up when he feels challenged.

It’s not all bad, though. He’s a lovable character despite his eccentricities. He is trying to be a more normal person, just in his own way- often shadowing the people around him, mimicking them and following them on their day to day in an attempt to unlock the secret to being a respectable human. His curiosity is rarely ill-intentioned, and his behavior is only offputting due to his high-energy level and odd upbringing.

FORM PMR-1014C: History known of dittech holder.

Background

Origin

Guppy has been on his own for as long as he can remember. It’s why he bares so many scars- fending for himself, as such a small pokemon, not to mention one that often stands out? He’s earned his keep in the wild, needing to take on a role as an aggressor to ward off attacks, learning how to intimidate despite his slight size. His status as a shiny has been more curse than blessing- his pale colors leaving him easy to spot, making it hard for him to hide in the water he called home.

Turning Point

That, likely, is why Chance picked him for a dittech. Or perhaps it was his oddly destructive behavior. Nonetheless, he was gifted humanity by someone worried for him, worried about his chances of survival out in the wild all on his own, and he was and still is incredibly grateful. Guppy stuck with Chance for quite a bit, the other not wanting to leave him on his lonesome unless he found a responsible roommate, worried about Guppy’s unending curiosity. But, sometimes, you can be a bit much. Guppy was left in Lumoise city after getting into more trouble than Chance thought he was worth, and he was left fending for himself, now with the capability of being human.

Presently

After some months of rummaging about in garbage and being a general nuisance to society, Guppy has found himself a home! Sort of! Pheo has offered him a home. Another to shadow, another to bother. He follows her about gladly, to her work and around the city, having accidentally fully switched to Apellon by mere association with his new roommate. Really, he’s just glad to have a friend!

Déjà Vécu

There’s a running theme of others helping Guppy. But in his worst moments, all he can feel is alone. There’s some resounding emptiness in him, some calling towards nothingness. When he looks at his hands, they feel wrong- not just because of his species, but because his very being knows something is off. He lies awake at night, feeling like he has somehow dodged a bullet. The bite of pain that comes from an injury instills a panic in him unknowable to another man- the panic that it’s finally coming. That something will happen. Guppy does not really feel like he belongs- here, or anywhere. On a good day, he counts himself lucky. On a bad day, he counts the ones he has left.
