Snailpebble | She/they | Demiromantic 

Snailpebble is Rainclan’s honorary medicine cat. She’s very small and quite jumpy; mostly keeping to themselves. They prefer to stay out of trouble as much as possible and do as they’re told. She never really agreed with the way Rainclan was treating the Willowclan cats but she also knew there wasn’t much she could do about it being a meek little medicine cat. Snailpebble usually likes to keep herself busy to pass the time, often leaving camp to find herbs but taking longer than usual because they enjoy the peace and quiet that the forest has to offer. 

Their early kit hood started out pretty normal, her and her brother Bassfang were very close. He always did his best to look after his younger sister. Some of the other kits would often bully Snailpebble for being afraid of anything and there was Bassfang,ready to defend his sister with his life. During heavy storms they would often cuddle up together and Bassfang would tell her stories their mother used to tell them. Things only started to change once they became apprentices. Their father Riptide was always ashamed of his cowardly daughter, she wasn’t useful to him in the slightest so he pushed her into the medicine cat den where he wouldn’t have to fully deal with her. Riptide put all of his energy into Bassfang, molding him into his own image and eventually Bassfang began to believe the things Riptide would say about Snailpebble. From a once loving a nurturing brother to a cruel and heartless leader Bassfang wouldn’t bother to acknowledge his sister anymore and their relationship became strained. Despite the way he treated her Snailpebble still loved her brother, she wished she could’ve told him that. When the patrol found Bassfang’s lifeless bloody body in the forest it was Snailpebble who mourned for him the longest. They were truly heartbroken, even though her brother was a horrible person he was still their brother nonetheless…she likes to remember him the way he was, back when he wouldn’t dream of hurting another cat unless it was to protect them..
