Tera grew up as an oddball in her group, never really fitting in with any of the other Pichu, Pikachu, or Raichu in the dens. One day while she was still a Pichu, she was just left behind, while everyone else just went on without her. She wandered around the forest aimlessly for what felt like hours. When it seemed like she was finished, a terrible storm raging all around her, a human scooped her up in his jacket and carried her to shelter under the roots of a tree. Since then, she went by Tera; named to honor his late starter. She has since developed a hardheaded and stubborn personality, but will not let a problem go untreated if she can do anything about it, which led to her pestering Dust about his experiments on himself, not knowing that it would worsen his downward spiral in the aftermath. However, she was truly concerned for him and his health.
