Daela got into a fight that ended up with them loosing one of their eyes and half of their wing. Before they could tend to their injuries, they got infected with an unknown disease that caused them to start turning into a starry, shadow-like substance. In turn, Daela gained the ability to talk to lost souls. There's no cure for the disease, as they are the only one known to have it on Erith, but the spreading of the disease seems to have halted.
They/them mainly!! Doesnt mind other pronouns tho (like he/him or she/her)
