Amoral
Alec has no sense of right or wrong. He does whatever he feels like at any given time and does not care what harm his actions cause. If one were to try and explain the difference between what is acceptable and what is not, he would be unable to understand. It will always be something that is beyond him, or perhaps, he is beyond it.
Malicious
He has every intention of causing harm to others. It is uknown who he plans on hurting or when he plans to do it, or even if he plans anything out or finds random victims. The only one he hurts but never kills is Layla, and he never harms her enough to cause her to never want to come back to him. Just as he is her dress up doll, she is his murder doll.
Impassive
Not one to show emotions, he is very much, as the above mentions, like a doll. This makes it so his expression never give away his intent. To look him in the eyes, one would see a soulless gaze and see their own death reflected back at them. The only time he displays any emotions is when he is causing pain or killing.
Astute
With a slow, emotionless appearance and unwillingness to speak, Alec is surprisingly intelligent in his own way. He is always watchful, and has an uncanny ability to understand people and situations. This helps to make it so he escpae situations he does not want to be in, using gestures instead of words.

Summary
Alec grew up in an unstable home, watching as his father got angry at and beat his mother for the smallest of reasons. His young eyes witnessed unspeakable things, and with that came silence from himself. It is now unknown whether he can speak or not, but since anyone can remember, except perhaps his parents, he has never uttered a word. All that can ever be heard from him is his breathing.
His time in school was fairly uneventful. There were a few times he got in trouble for attacking another kid, but other than that, he kept to himself. He also had a tendency to draw questionable pictures, somthing that worried his teachers but nothing was ever done about it. He was that weird, scary kid that the other kids stayed away from. During this time, he inflicted torture upon animals. Because no one ever paid enough attention to him, and that he was good at hiding it, these actions were never found out.
When he was 18, he had a run in with a man who continuously spouted religious nonsense. His plan was to kill the man for reasons unknown, but that plan changed when the man invited him to join his group, hinting that Alec's skills could come in useful. Tempted by the prospect of shedding the blood of others, even if it was for someone else, he let the man live. Since then, he spends most of his time at the meeting place for the group, content to do their dirty work.
