History

Ryūsei Edo did not come from a line of Jujutsu Sorcerers, but instead was born with an inate cursed engery. They caused many problems as a young child hunting down and destorying low-level entities instead of staying in school. They were found by Sorcerers scouting an abandoned building and brought to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. There they studied and honed their abilities. They were underclassmen to Gojo, Nanami, and Geto. Ryūsei greatly admired Gojo's powers and would try to model thier abilities to his.

After graduating, Ryūsei decided to hunt curses abroad and cut ties with the school. Although, they still keep in touch with Gojo and Nanami to deal with high-level threats and coordinate against the headmasters of the schools.

Personality

Ryūsei is often described as aloof. Since they had no formal training until their late teen years, they sacrificed a normal childhood to hunting curses. They are not very good at conversing, and will often be the quiet one in a group. Due to this, they usually elect to work alone. Nanami has stated that he would rather work with Ryūsei than any other socerer, due to thier quick whit and quiet demeanor. Gojo states that, "Ryūsei seems like they would be a drag.... but you just have to know what buttons to push."

Abilities

Ryūsei's main ability is "Graviton Whip". Using a whip handle, they are able to channel their cursed energy through it to form an invisible whip. When struck by the weapon, Ryūsei can control the gravity of the apponent. This can either send them flying into the air, or crashing through the earth. This technique uses a high ammount of engery and cannot be maintained for a long ammount of time.

Event Horizon Ryūsei's Domain Expansion. During this, all effected parties are plunged into complete darkness. Then, the outline of a black hole is seen on the ground. Great weight is felt against the apponent as they are slowly dragged into the darkness of the black hole. Ryūsei has trouble controling this Domain and can often find themselves slipping towards the black hole as well. It is unknown where the black hole leads, if anywhere.
