When Elio isn't blowing stuff up on stages for concerts, he's skating at the park or at his desk playing video games. It's not uncommon to catch him out late watching turf war matches or chatting with Sean in Inkopolis Square. He's big into fashion and does his best to stay fresh, though he does have a hard time finding clothes in Inkopolis that fit him.

To the City

Elio is from a large family of a couple dozen children - his parents are very much into having a large household and manage to balance things shockingly well between their jobs. At the time of leaving home, younger than his parents liked, he was the 16th child born in the house. From all the greetings, video chats, and texts, his family has had several more in the time he's been gone.

The small rural town his family lived in just wasn't Elio's speed and they accepted as much. He got in trouble in school constantly and while the teachers said it was home issues, jealousy problems, his parents knew their home town just didn't stimulate their child - didn't excite him. They weren't happy that he wished to leave, but they supported him and gave him a small amount of money to ensure his trip to Inkopolis wouldn't be miserable.

Elio's first night in Inkopolis was spent at a bus station, but his first day was one of confusion, nerves, and joy mixed with pure terror. he was smaller than most Inklings and they were so loud, so bustling, there was so much movement and noise and sights and colors.

He loved it.

The Gig

Elio found a shit-hole apartment with a weird urchin for his first place, working jobs that were both odd and late shifts as he tried to get a feel of where he wanted to be in Inkopolis. There was plenty to do, it was wriggling around until you found that place for you and he had to keep wriggling a lot.

The job that lead to his break was a janitorial position for a large venue that hosted everything from knitting conventions to concerts - working the night of a concert, he was pulled in unexpectedly to help with some pyrotechnics. Nothing big and nothing hands on, just ensuring that they were set properly, but watching the technician set up the flames and sparks on stage in such a timed fashion really sparked a fire under him.

Elio spoke to the company about entry positions after the concert wrapped and got his foot in the door to his dream career - blowing shit up, making a lot of noise, and having fun doing so.

Current Life

You can find Elio living in Inkopolis still, though he is planning on moving to Splatsville when able. He's still blowing shit up at concerts and shows whenever possible and has tended to the fireworks display for Splatsville multiple times. Each visit just makes him want to move there even more.
