Mel

Mel had a fairly normal life, She grew up poor but had a nice family so she didn't mind much. She was a relatively quiet child, with two close best friends as well as two older sisters and a younger brother. She loved movies and art, she wanted to be a concept artist one day. She also had a small emo phase in her youth but never stopped dying her hair. Midway through high school she and her friends went to a high school party that ended in a car crash. She died in the incident while one of her friends lived and the other ended up in a coma. In the incident Mel lost half her face. When she woke up in the forest all her facial damage was covered by a hardened skull that was attached over her face. Immediately attacked within her first few hours of her arrival in the forest she found herself on Anon's patrol routes. Saved by him but still untrusting at the time he taught her how to fend for herself and how giving to their new homeland would result in it giving back to her as well. She now cautiously tries to help and protect the residents while staying under Anon's guide knowing if he ever passes she will take his place. She grew to see him as a father figure and looks up to him, some of the residents she is still weary of but tries to hide it to comfort them. Anon ended up dying part of his own hair to make her feel like she fit in better, but she always thought that was silly, hiding how much she appreciated the gesture.
