ohh theyre so cute!!! I'd definitely be using them. My current hyperfixation is with the open species Comfys, so I'd incorporate the little guy with them. Their design is already perfect, I don't think I'd be changing it much at all. I also think the name already fits super well!
I'd be developing them alongside Honeydew and this as of yet unnamed character. They're all children, best friends who love to explore and get into all sorts of strange adventures together! Comfys has an in-progess ARPG, and I'd be using all three of them in a lot of smaller prompts, silly bi-weekly prompts or side-adventures that run along the main plot. Just three kids being goofballs!!! Scout would have a very quiet and deadpan personality, content to let Honeydew and the as of yet unnamed character run into the fray and let them make a fool of themselves, before Scout steps in and presents the obvious answer. Scout shares a love of adventure and mystery with Honeydew, the type of kid to spend all day in the forest for fun, poking bugs with sticks. They definitely have a pet beetle they keep in a little plastic insect container. They also share a bit of a strange sense of humor with Unnamed, and the two of them enjoy playing pranks on people! Many of their pranks target Gummy, although Scout is a bit frightened of Gummy's parasite. They also love tormenting the Sanctuary's caretaker, Oscar (who's an NPC in the ARPG).
