pspspspppspsppppppppppppps this was fun lol
I've never made a steven universe character before, I actually don't know too much about the show lol. But,, I noticed some cool patterns witht the gem characters, they usally have a pretty small color pallet, the triangle shaped ones usally had skin tight clothes, and their clothes also looked more like armor. So now that we've got that covered, I wanted to take some inspiration from the gem, jade, but on its own its super boring lmao. So i searched up some cool facts about jade, and I found that its used to carve dragons! (dont quote me on this I don't know too much about the history lmao) I think they came from ancient china, and are supposed to symbolize power, honor, ancient kings, and other cool stuff. They're also supposed to be all aggresive and stuff. Once I found this out I immedietly knew what to do :D I made the armor clothes all triangle-y because thats what they did when they carved into jade dragons, and added some huge hands! I'm pretty sure some of the gems have super powered prosthetics? So thats what I did for the huge claw hands lol. And I added the cape because the jade dragons are super long,, and they had cool tails so I defiently wanted to add that in somewhere. Anyway!! Thanks for reading! I had a lot of fun with this fella, and it was a good designing exercise. Hope you enjoy them :)
