Personality

An absolute sweetheart. Kind, loving, charming, brave, and eager to please. Just the nicest guy you've ever met. Would charge headfirst into a burning orphanage without a second thought. Secretly terrified that he'll never live up to his mothers high expectations for him. In fact, insulting his mother is probably the only thing you could possibly get him pissed about. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. A+ Cinnamon Roll, too good for this world, too pure.

Manō is both profoundly deaf and fully fluent in hoofspeak (along with his mother.) Although he can lipread, he prefers not to speak aloud unless absolutely necessary.

History

Born in Faline, Manō was the 3rd generation descendant of Siragalese migrants fleeing the mage uprising in their homeland. His mother, a respected battlemage in the Ivratian Navy herself, was well familiar with the dangers magic posed to society. So it was no surprise that when her son first showed signs of magic at the tender age of 8, he was swiftly shipped off to Namarest without a second thought.

He studied magic in Namarest for 10 years, eventually graduating to a spot in the Ivratian Navy himself. He returned two years later, having hated every second of his service. Desperate not to lose the approval of his rarely satisfied mother, he threw himself into the order of Mage Protectors. He quickly found protecting people directly much, much more fulfilling than swabbing decks in the Navy. All and all, he was shaping up to be the perfect servant of Ivras in his mothers eyes.

Until one, tiny thing got in the way. He met a girl.

Well, arrested a girl. A wild mage, practicing magic in the wilds just beyond Mead. It was his duty to bring her back to Namarest. He SHOULD have brought her back to Namarest. But she was so beautiful, pale and wild and free in a way he had never comprehended. He was madly in love with her from the moment she dislocated his jaw with her hoof, so much so that the stranger couldn't even bring herself to run when she had the chance. Melody was her name, he learned as she patched the wounds she'd brought on them. Soon their lonesome meetings became a series of trysts, and even sooner they shared a home in Faline. No harm would ever come to the hidden mage, this he swore to her.

Even now with Archon Miriam in power, he fully intends to keep that promise.

Cost 03

Corruption00

Church can summon schools of spectral fish at his will, taking the shape of anything between 20 piranhas and 1-2 medium sharks. These summoned creatures are not intellegent and do not follow commands other than "Bite whatever he wants them to bite". Imagine if magic missle was made of fish.

Costs

  • Magic use fatigues the caster. (1) Self Explanitory
  • Magic use is painful for the caster. (2) Church gets headaches after maintaining his summons for too long, especially if theres many of them.
