"I can't keep falling in love, I'll die from blood loss"
Lucifer never realized that the constant nose bleeds and hard coughs that had him spitting blood had anything to do with love. He was young when he fell for his first crush. Unfortunately, it never devolped, as he had a major coughing fit which ended in him splattering the crush's clothes. After that, any one who he was even slightly attracted to had him nose bleeding, bruising and coughing. It's highschol now, and he swore off attraction. But in comes the sarcastic and annoying AJ. Now he's spiraling from falling in love and dying of blood loss, or just ignoring his feelings and cope.
