The Original Dragon.
Once considered a close friend of the first king of Unova, Taijirum guarded and guided his descendants for ~500 years following the king's death, until the two princes it regarded as its charges began to quarrel with each other. Loving both of them as if they were its own, and being unable to choose one prince's convictions over the other, Taijirum tore itself in half so it could continue to accompany the both of them, leaving only an empty husk behind. It wouldn't become whole again until modern time, approximately 2,500 years later.
Taijirum represents the future; a harmonic balance of truth and ideals shaped by the acceptance of different beliefs.
