Abyssal is a reserved and subtle person who tends to prefer to observe things going on around her than take action. She's fascinated by the way the waters flow and the way things happen on their own, and rarely seeks to intervene unless directly threatened. Spending most of her time in the deep dark trench waters, she rarely meets others, and you're more likely to see her studying glowing eyes in the darkness than ever truly meet or speak to her.

She is intelligent, but anxious, and when forced to interact on a social level she tends to do everything in her power to end the conversation so she can take her leave, as extended social presence isn't really in her interests. As such, she doesn't really have many in the way of friends and the best friends to her are the ones who keep her quiet company without requiring words between them.

She is kind and though her desire to lurk in the shadows can be offputting to some, she's a gentle soul who'd never hurt anyone and a mysterious distant wonderer. She can intimidate people with her silence and bright gaze on occasion, but it's best not to make too quick of assumptions of her.

Abyssal was one of Leuko's many offspring, a daughter among many and princess of the sea among a brood. She was always a quiet pup who never wanted to spend time with her siblings, and felt drawn to the darkness of the deep waters that her family forbade her from. So, as soon as she was old enough to fend for herself comfortably- that's exactly where she went. With her glowing gaze and dark pelt, she thrived in the deepest voids of the abyss, and came to rule it with her intelligence and willingness to maintain order in this shadowed ecosystem that many of her kind forget exists. 

She rarely emerges from the abyss beyond occasional meetings with her family, though she's happy to help those who wander into the shadows to find their way back to shallower waters.
