After the departure of the former Groveclan deputy, Brightberry was appointed to the position. She remains undoubtedly loyal to Morningstar through thick and thin. Brightberry admires the leader’s youthful glow and happy demeanor. She often takes charge of patrols and accepts any task given to her without question. Brightberry makes small accessories for the younger members of the clan quite often. Slowly, she has been learning to see through lies and other tactics of ill-meaning cats. For now there is much to be done and Brightberry’s story is far from finished.

Warriorhood

With age, Brightberry’s leadership skills flourished like the first flowers of spring. She joined any patrol she possibly could and offered her help to the elders and queens as often as she could. Unfortunately, Brightberry remained susceptible to manipulation due to her trusting nature. The she-cat soon gained a reputation for being a problem solver for issues both within Groveclan and between the other clans… even if they didn’t always like her subjective judgement. During her time as a warrior, Brightberry took on 2 apprentices. Unfortunately one disappeared under unknown circumstances, but the other thrived under Brightberry’s leadership.

Apprenticeship

Brightberry’s apprenticeship went off without a hitch in most aspects. The young she-cat showed exemplary skill in offensive battling, especially when it came to speed and quick decision making. Admittedly, she struggled greatly when it came down to hunting and climbing. Brightberry often got overly excited and startled prey just before her attack. Despite his best efforts, it became clear to Brightberry’s mentor that she would never truly excel in it. Much of her free time was spent bothering any cat she could find to see if they needed any assistance.

Kithood

Brightberry was born into a litter of 3 kits. From the very beginning, she exhibited compassion for her siblings and the other kits of Groveclan. While her mother passed shortly after her birth, Brightberry’s father spent extra care showing her how to live life with congeniality. Brightberry spent much of her free time as a kit collecting anything pretty she could find around camp. Once it was time for her apprenticeship, she was practically bouncing off the walls.
