Quick backstory- 

Lucas is the only child of Adam and Silva,  king and queen of a small nation in a beautiful desert. (I'll most more on this country later) he doesnt remember much before the Civil War broke out. Silva killed, and Adam now were to be found. So Lucas was stuck alone on the streets barely serving when a boi breccan appears and saves him. They grew up close and had each other's back as the nation fell apart to Adam's brothers iron hands. 

The now king, has decided with the increasing numbers of orphans, to put it to use and make child soldiers. Breccan and Lucas were stuck in this and tortured for days to break their wills, and they became the best of the young ones to survive becoming the kings knights.
