Has two first names because her parents couldn't agree on one name. (This was typical of them; they split up when Gladys was a teenager.) Lost both parents before she could adjust to their divorce. Enrolled in military school and has been strategizing for the Eccosian Crown ever since.

Met an affable, optimistic healer at military school. Befriended her; bonded over their mutual heartache; dated and married her; had Eleanora [no ref] with her; fought alongside her and lost her on the battleground.
