Igor is Connor's weird little brother :) He's only 18 or 19, but the stress of being a Reddit nihilist has prematurely aged him. While just as gothy as Connor, the two don't particularly get along or see eye to eye, mostly due to childhood trauma. Igor is a waiter at an upscale restaurant, and has schizophrenia.

Igor's schizophrenia manifested early in life, though he didn't get treatment until high school, due to the supposed rarity of psychosis present in children, and his grandmother (who primarily raised him and Connor until they were fourteen and sixteen, respectively) hiding it from their parents, and convincing Igor to do the same, telling him he was possessed, and that if anyone found out, he'd be sent to Hell for this. The abuse Igor faced from his grandmother has caused a lot of religious trauma, and a deep paranoia around the religious beliefs imposed on him. Despite being atheistic, Igor is convinced he is going to go to Hell no matter what when he dies, as the the guilt he was raised with as a Catholic has given him the impression that God could never approve of him. That being said, he is fascinated by demons and the devil, and spent all of middle school trying to summon any sort of malevolent force.

All of this has given Igor a very complicated relationship with his family, for essentially failing to protect him growing up. Still, though, he's grateful that they did step up when they did, and his parents have been trying to make it up to him and Connor ever since - getting Igor treatment, and helping Connor transition, and giving them both the love and attention they deserved and were starved of with their widowed grandmother. Igor gets extremely moody around the holidays, in part due to lingering effects of PTSD, but also because his parents still insist on visiting his grandmother, but do not make Connor or Igor go with them. Igor just can't believe they'd want anything to do with her after what they let her already get away with.

Igor is melancholic, and short tempered, and quiet most of the time. Despite his standoffishness leading people to believe he's aloof or above it all, he's a good person, and he cares deeply about the people around him, and his brother, even if he doesn't get Connor. He is protective by nature, not wanting anyone's pain to go untreated as his was, and is a reliable, loyal, and kind man, even if he sometimes struggles to put his feelings into words or explain his actions. He just doesn't take shit from anyone, anymore. Igor is also very intelligent, and takes school very seriously. He loves to read, especially fantasy novels.

Appearance

Igor has long black hair, beetle black eyes, and intensive eye bags. He is skinny, and 6"0 tall.
