A Phantom Rogue Harengon
She's from a family of phantom rogues and they have a tradition where when one of them passes they get made into a trinket so that their soul is bound to it to offer wisdom and guidance to the later generations. When she was young she went to a festival with a locket that her dad was bound to. She snuck inside to play and ended up meeting a small boy named Baihu. Together they roamed the festival and enjoyed what they could but near the end of the night she met face to face with a strange person. They ended up stealing her locket and fleeing.
Once she told her new acquaintance about it he vowed to stay at the festival until he found her locket. As she was leaving the festival though, she ended up getting ghosted away by fae. Fast forward 8 years, and she returns to the festival, this time as a fully trained assassin. Once she had escaped the fae realm, her mother kept her under tight lock and key only letting her out for assignments. Since this was a large job for Kanon, her mother send her with multiple trinkets. Each of them containing one of her previous family members, including the head of the entire assassin clan. Every day to train her, they impart rules onto her that she must follow. However, every day they change and move to keep her on her toes, but sometimes her family likes to mess with her and will provide her with silly tasks.
At the festival, she managed to run into Baihu once again... except that he looked exactly the same as he did 8 years ago. She went around with him once again in the festival, except she was much colder and less talkative. Unfortunately, at the end of their rendezvous, she attempted to kill him revealing that her assignment was to kill him. He overpowered her and she had to retreat being pulled aside by the festival owners. Revealing the client that paid to have Baihu murdered he revealed that he knew who took her locket when she was younger. But in order to get it back she would have to venture into the fae realm once more. Except that there was no way for her to survive without Baihu. So for now she has to roam the fae realm with him and put her contract on hold...
