You can get your MYO design approved here and it will be added to the Masterlist as soon as possible.
What is an MYO?
  • "MYO" stands for "Make Your Own". If you have an MYO slot, you get to draw and design your own Folcutter.

Can I transfer my MYO Folcutter?

  • You are allowed unless said otherwise. Be mindful of the transfers rules stated in your slot's masterlist entry.

How do I get my Folcutter approved?

  • You need to submit a drawn image of what your MYO Folcutter will look like to get it approved. You are allowed to use a base and/or you can commission someone else to do the design for you, as long as your credit the artist.
The art piece you submit to us will be uploaded to our masterlist. You are more than welcome to provide a watermarked version of your design, as long as your watermark doesn't hide too much of the design.

What is mandatory when it comes to designing a Folcutter?

  • Folcutters are mostly humanoid creatures with the tail of a water creature and fin-like ears (there are some rare exceptions of non-water related Folcutters, but they are not well documented). They are mostly made of food-based matter infused with magic. They have no blood, but a colorful goo and cake-innards instead. Their teeth are always poking out of their mouths and their pupils are always in the shape of their cookie cutter.

How much freedom do I have while making my MYO?

  • As much as possible! The lore of the species encourages you to find old, historic recipes, bread stamps, and sea creatures to make your Folcutter as original and fun for you as we can. However, it is forbidden to heavily base your Folcutter on copyrighted designs and characters, pre-existing designs or mainstream characters. Inspiration is fine, but please keep it subtle.

What traits can I use?

  • With a classic MYO slot (Colorful Cutter), you may use common traits only. On special occasions, or thanks to an item, you may also use uncommon and rare traits. All those traits are listed in the trait sheet, which you can find in this page's gallery. If you have troubles seeing the traits, you can also find the picture here on DeviantArt.
Some slots given out during events may follow specific rarity rules, you can find more about it in the slot's masterlist entry.
In the case you own a mutated MYO slot (Golden Cutter), you may add a mutation to your design.

Mutations?

  • In very rare occasions, you may receive a mutated slot. This slot follows the same rules as a common one overal, except you may use a trait from the mutation sheet, which you can find in this page's gallery. If you have troubles seeing the traits, you can also find the picture here on DeviantArt.

Some Folcutters have familiars, can mine have one too?

  • Absolutely! By focusing their magic on an external focal point, Folcutter are also able to summon a small familiar, which is a manifestation of their cutter: meaning that if a Folcutter has a star-shaped cookie cutter rune, their familiar will be a star.

On top of the traits, please refer to this check-list for the Species signature attributes they all possess without the use of a trait:

  • Human body
  • Aquatic tail and fin-like ears corresponding to the tail.
  • No blood, but a colorful goo or cake innards instead (color up to owner).
  • Teeth are always poking out of their mouths.
  • Their pupils are always in the shape of their cookie cutter.
  • Familiar in the shape of their cookie cutter (MUST be depicted).
