About

Ryu is a passionate Demon Hunter. Out of unknown reasons he started to become a Demon Hunter, but he doesn't tell anyone why. There must have been some incident in his past, that he keeps for himself. He is really focused on hunting demons down and sees it as his life job, so that is the reason, why he is very passionate about it. He's more of a loner, even though he can be a fun company with all his sarcasm and coolness. But among the other hunters he's kinda unpopular because he doesn't work on his hunts with other hunters and rather hunts alone, an exception among the Hunters. Because of his success in it, he's very famous among the hunters but there are rumours that he works together with angels, since they don´t believe one Hunter can manage so much all by himself. Working with Angels isn't popular also, so people tend to spread negative Rumors about Ryu and avoid him, which he doesn´t care about.

Story

Ryu used to be a normal human, working in several sport arts as a trainer, teaching students fighting, parcours, and all kind of different things. This came in handy when he started becoming a Demon Hunter. Living his normal Life he never believed Hell or Heaven existed, until he encountered a Woman who he fell in love with. They started dating each other and became an ideal couple, which Ryu never believed would be possible with his difficult personality, yet it happened. They lived as a couple for several years, until she revealed to him that she was an Angel. At first Ryu didn´t believe it, until she proved it to him by showing her wings. His love for her was too strong to make that a reason for them to seperate, but the Angel revealed to him, that there was another war between Heaven and Hell happening again, it occured every few centuries. He feared for her life, wanted to support her and studied about demons and how to kill them, even though she begged him to stay away from it. One day she left him, leaving her angelic sword for him and went off to war, from which she never returned. Hoping to see her alive and in case she died for her revenge, he started to become a fulltime demon Hunter, obsessed with avenging her, his Hate towards Hell and Demons became huge since that day.
