Misaki is a very tragic character, her throat was crushed as a mortal by a bandit that robbed her along with rapping her along the road in Edo Japan, then got left to die. Till she was approached by Kalvar the demon god of calamity who granted her a new life, as a demon. Kalvar seeing her dying body on the ground, he asked her a series of questions telling her to nod yes or no for an answer. One of the questions he asked if she wanted "a new life" she painfully noded yes, he then asked "If she WISHED" for the life, but as a demon. She again nodded yes. Her wish was granted, the shape she would take as a demon wasn't something he could decide. It was based off her personality, her fears, her life as a mortal. She rose, still unable to physically speak. However, her new demon formed allowed her to telepathically speak to people. She could only make sounds, and squeaking noise.
Transforming into the demon she is now, granted with powers she had no idea about. Her human ears disappeared, as bunny-like shaped ears grew in. Which enabled her to hear things from miles away. Her senses increased, being able to smell a drop of blood within a 10 mile radius. She kept the shape of a human, outside of a fluffy bunny shaped tail appeared along with the ears. The tail she could use and shape as she pleased. After Kalvar saved her life, she then traveled along side him as his companion.
