Croak is a rather intimidating, cold and bitter anthropomorphic frog hybrid. His physical build comes across as box-y and contains some pretty visible bulk beneath the clothes. He comes across as dry and tends to remain unexpressive to those he decides to talk to, otherwise he stays out of the way and remains behind the scenes until he feels the need to step in.

His position is well known amongst those who affiliate themselves within gangs, however outside of it, he does his best to remain undiscovered. His back-up occupation is a gardener who typically tends to himself, those who meet Croak for the first time will have no awareness of him being affiliated with a gang unless they themselves are in something of the sort, and even so, it's not safe to assume.

It has been seen that Croak might be affiliated with somebody else, whilst he doesn't disclose his relationships quite often, he has been seen to be paired up with a very familiar local bunny cop... If not with said cop - he accompanies a smaller melanistic eevee hybrid, acting as her father figure. The relationship between this frog and bunny can be quite conflicting to the eye at points, what is going on?

Re-iterating, Croak is incredibly cold and comes across as very serious, when it comes to a threat on his gang, he is pretty quick to take action if he is aware of what is going on. He comes across as deceptive but typically only when it comes to introducing himself outside of his true occupation, otherwise he is bluntly honest. Mentally he's conflicting when it comes to fears but on appearances he doesn't really let it bother him, he will confront someone face-to-face without appearing any form of nervousness, he is able to mask it very well.

Physical

Croak is very known to use his hands during combat, his strength is certainly not one to mess with. A single punch can be fatal or seriously damaging depending on the person he's up against and he has absolutely torn opponents in half before, and would not hesitate to do it again if needs be. He has an extremely long tongue that can stretch out to extreme sizes, paired up with his strength he is able to grab opponents to lure them closer or fling them, his saliva can be sticky so it makes it a bit more difficult to get out of such, his tongue is vulnerable however so he doesn't use it alot.

Special

Croak's 'Special' moves consist of his Pokemon-orientated moves, this he rarely uses but will do if needs be. His main move to use is Hydro Pump, the closer the enemy is, the harder this hits, he does a little charge-up before using it as it'll come out of his mouth. It has a long range but the further the enemy is, the less likely it is to harm. When upclose, it has pretty good knockback and potentially temporarily stun an enemy. The water can make the surrounding surface slippery, as well as the person drenched.

Weaponry

Given Croak's access to things such as guns, he will use this quite often too, however typically if he's going up against a rival gang. He prefers this given he knows there will be plenty more enemies there, most of who will also use weaponry. This also gives him a solid distance between the enemy rather than remaining upfront like he typically does.

Combo

Croak often pairs up with Chill, his close friend, who is an Omanyte. He serves as a replacement for Croak's tongue and uses his tentacles to get a much easier grip on somebody and pulls them in close for Croak to ready up a punch. Unlike Croak's tongue, Chill's tentacles have a much better grip.

Alternatively, Croak pairs up with Geno, they are typically known to be pretty split on battles, but Geno can come in and ambush the opponent, acting as a support for Croak. Geno specialises in alot more range, and helping out the other person with his pokemon-orientated moves, which gives Croak the helping hand needed if the opponent tends to stay at a distance.

Croak's childhood wasn't exactly the fairest, he was born alongside two other siblings and everything strove to be competitive. Their mother was noticably never around and they did not find out the reason until later. Croak's father is called Raul, he was a normal eevee and the leader of Dirty Diamonds at the current time, however he knew he was not going to be able to continue the legacy forever, hence the produce of three frog-eevee hybrid children. The three was tested and tasked in order to see which of the three was the toughest and most obedient, trials a child should never have gone through were stressed on these kids who were simply trying to enjoy life. Nonetheless, Croak saw this as normal, and tried to appeal to his father in the best way he could.

When it came to determining who would end up (in future) becoming the next leader of Dirty Diamonds, Raul called up Croak to the roof of their building, his dad wielded a gun which made Croak a bit nervous, before he was instructed to look below. He saw his two siblings playing amongst the garden, he seemed confused before two loud shots was heard, Croak immediately startled by the sound before seeing the aftermath of those shots, both of his siblings lifeless bodies remaining on the floor. Raul soon turned back to Croak, before informing him that he was the chosen one, and if he didn't follow Raul's expectations, he would end up like his siblings, as well as his mother.

Growing up

Death became very normalised to Croak growing up, after the death of his siblings and the future of becoming a leader as one of his now responsibilities, he was entered into the gang life and was sent on missions and scavenges for intel for his father as a way of training alongside regularly being injected frequently, what was injected into him was what caused his immense height and tankish body in future, as well as a very early development, meanwhile his father essentially neglected him and paid little attention to him unless if it was useful, as to which he would be rewarded with food, if Raul wasn't content with Croak's progress, Croak would starve as a form of punishment. Early on, he was pretty cowardish and would try to avoid conflict with practically anyone, he had very little social skills and at some point would end up finding himself in a rival encounter. A taller, scruffed yet formal eevee-bunny, pointing a gun straight at the little frog. Croak appeared extremely frightened, it was easily told this was the first instance he has had like this, and somehow that resinated with the bunny, so he spared him, just this once. They went on their seperate ways but this definitely was not their last encounter together. The more they ended up encountering eachother, the closer they bonded slowly. Croak was older than this bunny but at the current time appeared smaller (though he was growing at an excessive rate), and with them being so close in age, they gradually became friends. This bunny didn't exactly have a name, so Croak called him Geno, the first part of his second name "Genovese" to help Geno feel closer to Croak. Geno however at first let the friendship remained one-sided, as he would at first use Croak as a way to gather intel on Dirty Diamonds. Geno was a rival gang so he took the oppotunity, meanwhile Croak blindly trusted him.

Raul would occasionally take notice of Croak coming home a bit more optimistically, and would once hear him out about the supposed friend he made. Raul, knowing who he was on about, saw this as an oppotunity too for intel, and would intentionally let the two keep seeing eachother for that sole purpose. Croak and Geno, while at first one-sided, did actually develop into a good friendship between the two, now the feelings being mutual, the two never had friends or had someone else to appreciate them before, so the new feeling certainly grew on the two of them. Geno definitely knew it was wrong, they were meant to be rivals however Croak just seemed oblivious to it, even putting his life at risk to save Geno at once instance between the rivals clashing. As their bond deepened, the hatred between the two gangs progressively worsened, and the threats got more serious, yet despite how close they ended up being, in their early 20's - Geno's gang was no more. With all the intel Raul essentially gathered throughout the many years of the two remaining friends, he used it to put an end to Geno's gang by lighting the place ablaze with everyone in it, except Geno, with him being the sole survivor. Croak had to escort Geno out upon noticing the situation and drive them away, but the bunny was never the same after that.

As much as Croak tried to keep him optimistic, Geno felt empty and angry, he felt humiliated being around Croak with the now little status Geno had, and in an act of selfishness, abandoned Croak, who pleaded and begged him to stay, as he didn't want to lose his only friend. With the loss of someone he truly loved, unknowing of if they would come back, he would struggle mentally, but put his focus towards the gang. After his father's passing, and his overtaking of the leader position, he felt pressurized to do his best for the gang, and the best he did. Meanwhile he did his absolute best to move on from Geno, even burning the very little memories he had of him left, he turned his priority to his members, and his best friend Chill who was there for him during the time of sorrow. The sorrow soon turned into a grudge, and bitter he became. The once optimistic and determined frog turned into an expressionless, angry being.

Reuniting

Under the impression Geno was never coming back, he accepted that fate until one day, he noticed a very familiar appearance, however an entirely different demeanour. Geno was able to track Croak down, and re-encounter him, however as a cop? Croak felt insanely betrayed, the bunny who once ran his own gang, the one who he gave a name to, is on the opposite force. Is working for "good". He felt angry, how dare he show his face after what he did, let alone reunite as a role with intention to take him and his entire gang down? Geno tried to explain but Croak immediately shut him down, he didn't want to hear it, he got aggressive and left out the door, like Geno once did to him. However even after all that, Croak just felt even more conflicted, he thought Geno was gone and out of his life, and now he's back, for what purpose?

This would once again send him into another confused spiral, he didn't know what to think anymore, and the fact it kept re-occurring on his mind insanely pissed him off. However the second time they reunited went a bit differently. Croak ended up being kidnapped by another rival team, lead by someone he well knows who hates him, he was chained up, beaten, they wanted information, Croak would not give, he's loyal, but he knew if something wasn't done, he would die, nonetheless he relied on his gang. But upon blacking out, he awoke in pain to see the people once beating him and prying for information, dead, shot. Yet there was nothing but a pale set of paws infront of him, until he looked up. A lonesome Geno carrying a weapon who appeared to have an entirely different demeanour from their first encounter. Croak didn't know how to react, Geno saved his life but why is he even here, what does he want with him? Geno as he broke Croak free gave himself some time to explain his scenario, and whilst Croak didn't believe him entirely intially, he gave him a second chance since the story seemed to link, though their friendship was insanely rocky, it would progressively become alot more steady between the two as Geno was able to further prove his entire "cop" personality was a fraudulent act in order to reunite.

The two did end up becoming pretty close again, like how they used to be, but it was like their personalities had entirely switched and they remain having constant conflictions between eachother.
