Slinking Shadow, despite their name, is actually a very kind and caring Maiden, who loves to look after the kits and any small animals. They're one of the preferred caretakers chosen by the kits, as their pelt heats up in the sun and acts as a nice warm blanket. Another great part about them is their little friend, Francois. Francois was taken in by Slink at a young age, as his mother died, and he was left alone. Ever since, both animals have been together and quite happy about it.
