Despicable, abusive, cutthroat, manipulative and vicious. These are some words to describe Kiernan, New York's newest up-and-coming druglord.
For Kier, there is no empathy or compassion for other individuals. He is an extremely selfish person who only looks out for his own interests even in his interpersonal relationships. If someone displeases him, it would be no surprise if they ended up dead. If they disagreed with him, especially in front of his men? There would be a fate worse than death for them. Any room for dissent is snuffed out with little effort: except when it comes to the people in his life with whom he has an unhealthy attachment to. One such example is his brother, Killian, who (in his eyes) abandoned him in favor of a life that one could consider paltry and solitary.
He does not allow anyone to be put in the position of being able to break his heart, because he is always there to trim them out of his life before they have the opportunity to do so. He refuses to make the same mistake he had with Killian: and so it is of no surprise that everyone he comes across is considered transactional and expendable. He feels no guilt for the things he's done to people, and any attempts to force his perspective are unsuccessful.

- Kier is ambidextrous.
- Loyalty is only worth something to him if its the sort of loyalty that comes without question.
- Kier is bisexual, but leans heavily to women. However, he has a very unhealthy view of women and past relationships have not gone well.
- Anyone who calls him Kiernan is getting a knife in the gut.
- Kier is a yandere, as such when he becomes obsessed with someone (in his case, with multiple types of love) it usually ends horribly.
- Per prior dainty lore, his saliva is a mild aphrodisiac and contains a hint of rosemary.
Background
The son of a whore and a veritable bastard, Kiernan and his half-brother Killian were not given opportunities in life. At least, not the type that any growing boy should be given.
His mother's line of work and the absence of a father figure in the boy's life left Kiernan empty. His mother suffered a lot of abuse as a result of her occupation, even turning to drugs as a way to cope. Killian found their mother dead of an overdose and the two were forced to try to survive on their own at Kiernan's ripe age of 12. His life being filled with violence and drugs so young, it was no surprise that when given the opportunity to distribute: he took it...and dragged Killian with him.
This line of work did nothing to stymie the mental instability of a young child trying to survive, and now he, known only as 'Kier', took his grief, anger, and pain back on the world that spit him out: all without getting his own hands dirty. Gang associations and the sheer might of his brother were enough to stave off any threats to his growing business, but eventually the twisted individual passed boundaries that even his brother could not turn a blind eye to. It wasn't simply about business anymore: anyone who stood to upset Kier would be on the wrong end of a crowbar.
Killian freed himself of his filial obligation to Kier the day he forced his brother to kill his best friend purely out of spite and jealousy. If Kier couldn't have anyone but Ian, then Ian couldn't be allowed to have anyone but him. By the time Ian was done and Kier was contented, his older brother drew the line in the sand and left Kier's side with a warning:
"Do not find me, come after me, interfere with my life in any way, or I will kill you."
"Well, brother. What an interesting challenge you've given: seeing how far I can push you until you break."
