Sova

Sova is a playable character in Untitled Video game and the main character of the story. She/He is gender neutral and is meant to give an all genders experience to the story. The player who is initially playing the game will get turned into this character and sucked into the now corrupted game where their older brother, (the original hero, Player 1) has vanished. It will thus be up to the new player (Aka, Sova) to finish their journey and uncover the reason behind them going missing.

Sora is an Owlkin. They are fairly humanoid, their skin being covered in small downfeathers and occasional plumage as they grow. Their feathers being so few and small however, end up making them more open to dangers, especially when very young or very old, as their feathers take a very long time to actually appear or tend to fall off more frequently. Owlkin typically are unable to fly, lacking wings, Only the elder guardians and some rare mutations in adults allow them to. They do however have the ability to double jump, and thanks to their light bodies, are granted the ability to glide semi long distances and stay slightly airborne thanks to their capes. Their jump height is far greater than most creatures, and with their double jump can reach the tops of oak trees in a single takeoff.

Once they were an abundant species, living in various different climates with different characteristics to adapt to their own way of living. However, they all slowly began to disappear, and now only a small community of Owlkin exist, with no one knowing what happened to the others. The species still declining but at a slower rate. Sovas brother, became an elder centuries ago, and was left with the task to discover why the Owlkin were disappearing. Now, the fate is left in the Players hands to figure it out.
