Strange Flytrap

a strange plant-like organism which functions similarly to an oversized flytrap. It has sticky tendrils inside it that give off a sweet perfume to lure in prey. Upon being captured by the trap, the outer portion will close around the prey and digest it until nothing is left. You can wiggle your way out of the trap if you are caught but once the trap is closed you're trapped for good. It also bears a tubor-like fruit that is said to be similar to a sweet potato albeit with a consistency and texture akin to a cucumber.
