                                                                                                                                                     Backstory:

Karnraak is a spirit created by the God of the Hunt, Kynigos. Karnraak is embodied by a necklace with jade beads depicting the skull of the creature. When worn by an anointed priest or acolyte, the necklace allows the wearer to transform into a powerful beast form. However, if the necklace is taken by someone who is not anointed, it becomes a vile curse, fusing itself to the victim. The victim will transform into the beast, but have no control and run wild, devouring the unwary. The creature is immortal to time and the victim can exist in this state at infinitum. However, if the beast is killed by any means, the victim will transform back. They will remain in this form for three days before turning back into Karnraak. If the victim is killed while in their original form, they will simply return to beast form. This curse is a cruel cycle designed to punish any who would disrespect the Huntsmaster.

When worn by an anointed, the wearer has their own personality. When worn by the unworthy, Karnraak is in control. Karnraak is a cruel beast, cunning and brutal. Karnraak is intelligent and capable of speech. It will often cruelly speak with the thoughts of the victim to anyone related that it meets. Karnraak's one purpose is to cause death and destruction wherever it goes, to punish the victim.

At its basis, Karnraak is a hybrid of a snow leopard and a werewolf with six black horns. Karnraak inherits attributes from its wearer, including gender, magic, hair, and scars. If Karnraak suffers a death blow, the victim will be permanently scarred in the manner that Karnraak was slain.
