Currently in his early 50's as well. He hasn't traveled much around the country they're the first gen of immigrant in his family but met Zafira early on in his years of coming there and hit it off. They do a lot of contract labor and used to be a standup comedian as a hobby is how he met her! and does some slight learned magic tricks. He picked his current name since they like it better cuz I mean c'mon, phoenix symbolism. Fénix is Valerie's parent and dad and Zafira's partner. He def says all the dad jokes and puns Valerie hates it. Their wife? loves them
