The eldest of Mala's three younger sisters. She takes pride in being a proud mother and her cubs mean the world to her- and she would do anything for them. As Mala and her nomad lover soon found out the hard way. She was the first to find out about Mala's affair with Chenzira, and overheard her convo about getting rid of Kuanga. Not taking the chance of her cubs potentially getting killed by the nomad, she alerted her pride and when Chenzira entered their territory- he was ambushed and killed. Despite Kuanga being hesitant about kicking Mala out of the pride, Deka managed to convince him and the pride to do it.
