Currency guide 2022

Only art of official Hoofhissers can be submitted for teeth!

We will NOT tolerate art theft, heavily “referenced” pieces, tracing, or anything of the sort. When submitting artwork, the piece must be submitted by the ORIGINAL artist. Regardless of the situation.
If caught violating these rules, you WILL be punished.

If a collaboration is done, you will split the value EVENLY. Please specify that the piece is a collaboration and who your partner is! Then proceed with the regular requirements.

All artwork, with the exception of sketches, MUST have clean line-work etc. We want to see effort!

You can only submit an art piece once. So you cannot submit a sketch, finish it, and submit the finished piece. You cannot use the same sketch for multiple pieces. If we notice multiple pieces are very similar, or look to be traced off previous submissions with little effort, we can deny it on this basis.

Full bodies must have minimal coverage (very little covering the body) in order to count as a full body. If the majority of the body is covered by something or isn't shown, then it is either headshot or half body. See image below!

Examples of unacceptable artwork:

None of the images below would be able to be redeemed for teeth. All images can be found in the gallery of this profile, so you may get a closer look. A more detailed explanation can be found in their image descriptions as to why they are not allowed.

Sketches are defined as art where it is generally unclean. Usually the lines are incomplete, and construction lines may be visible. Color is not completely in the lines and may spill over. Uncolored sketches are not accepted for teeth submissions.

3D models do not have to be digital. This category also applies to clay models that are painted.

— FAQ —

A model by itself can only be submitted once for teeth.

If you make multiple models of the same hisser, they must be drastically different.

If we can clearly tell that the art was made with use of software such as Paint3d, where you draw in 2d and the software converts it to 3d automatically, it will not be allowed to be redeemed for teeth. There are ways to use software like this that results in amazing models, so while there is not a blanket ban on the software itself, if it is clear that minimal effort went in, we will not award teeth.

Writing is a newer section in our teeth guide. Examples may be added at a later date.

— Writing —

-No plagiarizing. If we find that you have taken someone else's work and attempted to submit it for teeth, you will be denied the teeth and banned immediately from the server.
-Don't purposefully try and bloat your writing with filler words.

-If you have any triggers in your writing, please write a TW/CW on the top of your document. However, if you have any of the banned topics of the server in your writing, it cannot be submitted for teeth (please check the rules or with a moderator if you're unsure).

- When submitting writing, please do not copy and paste it into the teeth channel. Link to a document instead.

Every 500 words is 100 teeth.

If there is more than one hisser on a single canvas, then add ons apply to EACH hisser (the exception being backgrounds).

— FAQ —

Pet art vs Grindsheets

Pet art is your common art of a hisser interacting with their favorite pet. This art typically features one or two hissers with their pet(s).

A grindsheet pictures multiple art pieces on one canvas, all showing a hisser and their pets, in an attempt to 'grind' items/teeth out of the pet drops.

Grindsheets are subject to rules about their validity. See the grindsheet category for more info.

How do pets work?

Pets all have certain drops determined by what pet it is. Check the pet guide for more information on the pet of your choice. You must own both the pet and the hisser to be able to redeem a pet roll. Upon drawing and submitting your art, a moderator will do a command that will roll the dice and determine what drop you will receive.

You have to have drawn your hisser with the pet in order to get the teeth rewards (i.e. if you own 1 gloop, and you draw your hisser 3 times and your gloop 4 times, you can only get the rewards for 3 gloops)
Pets need to be full bodies with minimal blockage, but you don't need to make full bodies of your hisser in order to get teeth rewards
The pets need to be clean lined or lineless!!

If a pet is lineless, all of their limbs and features need to be well-defined.
Pets need to be recognizable in order to be counted
All pets, (regardless whether or not their page says they can be color changed or not) can have accessories
If a pet can be changed, only colors can be changed and they must still be recognizable for what they are! You cannot change the shapes of the pet (i.e. making the Snollbo have a sharp shell instead of the rounded shell they have)

— Acceptable Pet Art —

What makes a grindsheet/pet art acceptable?

-Has 10 or fewer pets.
-Pets are interacting with the hisser.
-Pets and hissers must be drawn accurately with clean coloring and lines.
-Pets need minimal blockage. Meaning, 75% or more of the pet should be visible. We will not deny you if just the tail or paw are covered up!

— Unacceptable Grindsheets —

What makes a grindsheet unacceptable?

-Has more than 10 pets.
-Pets are not interacting with the hisser or are on completely different parts of the canvas.
-Pets and/or hissers are messy and unidentifiable.
