Profile
"I can see what you can't see."
When Van turned 3, they started losing their eye sight. At first the world became grey until everything went fully black. But that didn't stop the small cheerful child from enjoying life, they experienced their life differently anyway, right from the start, wanting to just feel everything. Hence the change wasn't too bad , and actually just a good excuse to feel the world. Somehow their life got even more exciting that way.
In their late teens they moved out and wanted to be on their own. To calm their worried parents, they agreed on getting a guide dog, even though they probably chose the one and only dog that might be the worst choice for guiding them: Their husky Bayard. A loyal soul, not any less chaotic than his master, best company and a good way to make new friends.

[ family ]
The best guide dog you can ever imagine. At least when you ask Van. Loyal, soft and chaotic as a husky can be, he's the best company in any situation.
[ close friend ]
With Bayard's help, Van stumbled upon Makaro, or Makaro upon them? With one being blind and the other one being mute it was a very odd first encounter, but as soon as any communication difficulty was overcome, their friendship started to bloom. Makaro is a good calm anchor to relax and enjoy life also in a silent way.
