Pace the Moth
Pace is a 11-year-old moth who loves exploring the world and creating new ideas, seeming to have an endless supply of energy and creativity.
Having grown up in a difficult and restrictive household, he decided to run away one day to find freedom and happiness. Pace got lost in a dense forest but was found by an echidna named Chana.
The two now consider each other siblings, and Pace ended up finding a loving home where he can truly be himself – even if the two of them seem to bicker a lot.
Personality
Pace is a hyperactive kid with a wild imagination, and he can rarely be seen sitting still. Pace tends to act on impulse rather than thinking things through first, which tends to get him into a lot of trouble. He's precocious and surprisingly clever for his age. However, his school grades don't really reflect that due to his difficulties with concentration and sudden outbursts.
Pace can be a bit of mischievous and stubborn. He usually tries his hardest to get his way, although it usually doesn't work. Despite his stubbornness and mischievousness, he is a good kid deep down. He's usually in a good mood and smiles a lot. His good mood can change very quickly, though, as he's a bit temperamental.
Deep down he also really wants to impress others, especially people older than him. As much as he enjoys annoying his big sister Chana, he also looks up to her and wants Chana to admire him. He would never admit it out loud, but he'd love to be just like Chana when he grows up.
Backstory

Relationships
Chana is Pace's adoptive older sister. The two of them often bicker and disagree about things. Pace usually likes annoying Chana just for fun, and tends to question her authority: he usually tries his best to avoid doing what he is told to do. Despite being very difficult with Chana, this just shows that Pace is very comfortable around her – he feels brave enough to speak his mind without having to fear her.
Despite their fighting, they deeply care for each other and like each other's company. Pace feels the safest when he's with Chana. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he looks up to his sister and wants to be a cool fighter like her one day.
Annie has been Chana's rival for quite some time, so naturally she and Pace met after Chana had adopted him. Annie had never seen a moth before so she was very curious about Pace, and Pace felt very flattered that someone admired him.
The two of them are friends and get along well – they never even fight. As Annie loves technology she loves gifting Pace all kinds of fun gadgets. Pace really appreciates them as he has to live with no technology because his sister is a technophobe. Pace loves living with Chana but he misses technology a lot.

- Pace loves drawing. While his skills are still developing, his wild imagination makes up for it.
- Pace's favourite food is raspberry doughnuts.
- Pace is very short for his age, and he's very insecure about his height.
- Pace's favourite music is EDM. He also loves bubblegum pop and nightcore, but he wouldn't admit it out loud.
- Pace's cap is a comfort item of his – he won't take it off unless it's absolutely necessary, or if he's sleeping or washing himself. It's also a source of gender euphoria for him – he feels very boyish while wearing it.
