Solair is the son of Aurelia Cyrus and Ember Evering. He was born out of wedlock, between the king and one of his Queens Ladies in waiting. At first he had no idea he was a prince, his mother having been banished from the palace, Solair growing up in a country estate until he was ten years old and was officially invited to live in the main Palace, being thrown into the educational studies and duties of a young prince. He knows he isn't liked, and is often disrespected by palace staff, but he works hard and has a burning passion to prove himself, even being talked into aiming for the throne as a way to prove his worth.

His own family keeps the fact he is the son of Aurelia a secret, often passing him off as one of the cousins.

Solair has the ability to create and control flames.
