However, the cleric is ready to take this risk, as it offers the small chance of helping them out with a certain... Problem they have been struggeling with for a long time now.
Overall, Ekthus has always been a rather cheerful and fun personality, they have a trackrecord of bringing joy and excitement to other people, besides their help with undead and unwanted issues, as is their job as cleric.

Wherever they can, they try to hide the fact that they are a dhampir as well.
Despite all of this, they try to counter these dark thoughts with a cheerfulness and love for everything they find. They enjoy still being in this world and try to make things easier for anyone they meet. They cure the wounds of injured people, they bless anyone who needs a blessing.
Ekthus wasn't always a religious person, but due to events in their past, they ended up picking up faith in the deity Garamith, who blessed them with the divine energy to work as a Cleric and spread more love and good fortune to those who they come across.
After living in solitude for a long time, they decided to return to society and help people. Though it has been a while and their social cues are completely off sometimes, they still somehow manage to always save their slip ups, even coming across as charming to most people.
