Personality

A gentle soul, outwardly warm and friendly, with a strong protective instinct and an easygoing attitude. He's sometimes a little uncertain about social cues, though his natural down-to-earth charm tends to carry him through. However, it’s pretty clear that life hasn’t treated him kindly up until now, and he is prone to spells of melancholy when he has a chance to let his guard down.

Despite making efforts to be kind to those around him, and his firm belief in everyone - and everything - deserving a second chance, he is reluctant to extend the same courtesy to himself, and struggles to accept sincere affection from others. He tries to keep that from outwardly showing, but he usually can't help but find himself flustered in the face of care or concern from others, preferring to take care of others far more than being taken care of himself.

Abilities
Wild Shape
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

You can stay in a beast shape for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

Halo of Spores
Starting at 2nd level, you are surrounded by invisible, necrotic spores that are harmless until you unleash them on a creature nearby. When a creature you can see moves into a space within 10 feet of you or starts its turn there, you can use your reaction to deal 1d4 necrotic damage to that creature unless it succeeds on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. The necrotic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.
Symbiotic Entity
At 2nd level, you gain the ability to channel magic into your spores. As an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to awaken those spores, rather than transforming into a beast form, and you gain 4 temporary hit points for each level you have in this class. While this feature is active, you gain the following benefits: When you deal your Halo of Spores damage, roll the damage die a second time and add it to the total. Your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage to any target they hit.

These benefits last for 10 minutes, until you lose all these temporary hit points, or until you use your Wild Shape again.

Healing Hands
???
Necrotic Shroud

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing your eyes to turn into pools of darkness and two skeletal, ghostly, flightless wings to sprout from your back. The instant you transform, other creatures within 10 feet of you that can see you must succeed on a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level.

Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

History

Endymion is intensely quiet about his past, even as it clearly still haunts him. What is known is that he spent a long time alone, and is still acclimating to being around other people; and that, at some point in the past, he had - has? - a relationship with the Raven Queen.

This will be updated as more is revealed!

Relationships
z3b0asL.png
Aust

Endymion is surprisingly fond - and maybe a little protective - of Aust, especially after learning that the two might have more in common than he first thought. Maybe has the beginnings of a crush on him - maybe has more than that, and is afraid to admit it to himself.

Ekthus

Endymion is curious about Ekthus, but understands as well as anyone wanting to keep your cards close to your chest. He figures Ekthus will open up when they're ready, and he's not going to pry before then unless the opportunity presents itself organically.

Olai

Endymion finds Olai funny, for the most part - he appreciates the levity Olai brings to the group - but he's a little wary, now that he knows Olai's not afraid to poke at obvious sore spots.

Spite

Endymion is helplessly fond of Spite, and would kill and die for the endearingly strange little gremlin he's found himself in a party with.
