Peiskos’s original form was a arctic fox. He spent much of his time as a fox scavenging for scraps of meat across barren tundras and icesheets. Because of this Peiskos got to see many landscapes and many other animals. Despite never really getting to know any of animals he came across, it gave Peiskos a feeling of companionship and coexistence with those he saw. In warmer times Peiskos would enjoy gouging himself on berries and fish and watching the migrating birds and caribou as they made their way across the land.

When Peiskos became an esk one of the things that became noticeable very quickly to him was that the constant companionship of other animals when he used to see while traveling as a fox were not present any more. While Peiskos never really noticed how much he enjoyed the presence of other animals he certainly noticed their absence now. The secluded alpine valley he lived in meant that for the most part animals would only travel through when they migrated. Since Peiskos didn’t travel like he was used to doing he missed the more permanent residents of his frigid homeland. As of now Peiskos seeks to make new aquantices and friends. While he maylove his land the creatures that live there dearly, there is a near permanent sense of loneliness. Peiskos now searches for another esk to keep him company friend companion or partner Peiskos is easy to find another that he can spend time with to fill the loneliness in his heart.
