Scraps

The first spirit to possess and be trapped within a particular cursed plushie. The plush acts like a sort of fly paper for spirits: lures them in and holds them forever.

...or it would be forever, if not for Scraps themself. Scraps has been residing in the plushie's body for so long that they're able to manuever it like their own body, having much more control over it than any of the many other possessors ever could. And they've chosen to use it as a way to grant every individual spirit that becomes part of the plushie their own bodies by taking in abandoned toys and fixing them up to transfer each spirit into. The toys are then sneaked into places for children to find and fall in love with, giving the lonely spirits new happy lives.

Scraps may never live that kind of life for themself. Their plush body is so very visibly haunted, and even without the visuals, the mere presence of it makes anyone highly unsettled and endangered. But Scraps doesn't really mind; the joy of the spirits and the new friends they all make is more than enough to keep them happy.
