Yew is of average height with a lithe, androgynous appearance. They have a coat of varying shades of black that appear to have an indigo tint in the right lighting. Their red eyes are lidded and accented by lighter markings underneath. Typically, they walk with a confident, slinking gait with quiet footsteps.

They have a rat familiar that helps them gather plants.

Personality

An odd wolf that never reveals their true name to anyone and instead goes by "Yew". They have a polite and lighthearted demeanor and are usually seen wearing a smile on their face. Though they usually wouldn't go out of their way to harm others, they enjoy manipulating and playing tricks on certain kinds of people. They enjoy living in the moment and doing things for their own amusement.

Being a curious and open-minded individual, they take pleasure in giving and receiving knowledge. They have extensive knowledge about plants, especially poisonous ones, and are fascinated by other individuals, particularly what motivates them and makes them tick. They also have a fondness for poems and storytelling, though some of their favorites tend to be grim in nature. Sometimes, they speak of gods, but usually won't elaborate unless asked to.

It's difficult to earn their loyalty and they don't wish to tie themselves to a pack, instead simply hanging around people they find interesting.

They identify as male and female, as they claimed to have lived as both sexes throughout their previous lives.

History

Yew claims to have lived through various past lives, though their descriptions of them tend to be very vague. The reason for this is that due to enraging the gods, they've been put through a constant loop of death and rebirth. Whether or not this is true or just them weaving tales from their imagination, no one knows.
