Truly a kindred soul. She had a very strong sense of justice, and was the one who convinced Javier to leave the mafia. When Jez was 14 and Jay was 18, she developed cancer. Jez became a drug dealer to pay for her treatment, but when she died when he was 15, he didn't stop.
Having convinced Javier to not work for the mafia herself, she didn't want her children to follow in his footsteps. Javier was neutral on the matter. Jay, however, took his mother's word seriously, which was why when Jez joined the mafia, he came to despise him.

Jay was very into sports in his childhood. His parents expected him to continue heading in that direction, but he took a sharp turn towards social subjects instead. He ended up becoming a lawyer, very successful in everything... but love. He wants to have a wife, but he just can't seem to keep a relationship.
He loved his mother very much, and dislikes Jez for reasons mentioned before. Relations between the two are... Tense.
