Lothol is mixed race, being as his father- Raiath Hathol- is Gearikan from Huldhel (planet), and his mother- Seraid (18e.3522.1669)- is Sarran from the Zarran Ring.
He is more Zarran than Gearikan, and therefore was raised on the Zarran Ring with his mother and Aunt, as his father stayed behind on Huldhel and helped raise Lothol's cousin.
The split between their family has had a stronger effect on Lothol than Egacka, as he grew up never feeling like he was where he was meant to be. Still, when he visited Huldhel to see his father, this feeling never diminished anyway, and he's been trying ever since to find a place he feels completely at home.

Like all Zarra, Lothol has the ability to generate electricity, though his communication abilities are on the lower end of the spectrum. Being half Gearika, the part of his body that generates his charge is not as fully developed as that of a full Zarra. Likewise, his sensory organ is not fully developed. As he ages, it may start to develope more. If that's the case, he will actually develop something on his body that looks like very light freckles. These are just below the surface of his skin and are what send and receive the signals.
All Zarra have the ability to send electrical signals to one another, and by changing the 'tune' of the signal, they can communicate non-verbally. Verbal communication will always be more exact, but Zarra frequently speak in only signals.
Due to his underdeveloped sensory and generative abilities, Lothol is unable to send clear signals to others. It often comes out as the wrong signal, or a muddle of signals. Unable to sense exactly what he's doing, Lothol has little control. He also is not good at sensing other's signals and is often left confused by them.
Because of this, Lothol took special classes in school where the teachers only used verbal communication with him- he hated it.
Otherwise, Lothol can generate a static layer over his skin and can then push that to form arcs of electricity. Zarra use this ability to power items such as lamps, handheld devices and even vehicles, rather than resorting to the use of batteries, fuel or plugs. Lothol can power most objects that Zarra have made, and can also use this ability to shock people. Shocking other Zarra means little to nothing, however, as electricity does not harm them.
One ability Lothol can be proud of having, however, his his power to make a sort of shield. It forms like a bubble around him, and the bigger it gets, the heavier and thicker/stronger. Larger shields are, however, harder to maintain. Many Zarra no longer have the ability to project shields or forms, though at one time in the past all Zarra could manifest this power. It was MUCH stronger in those days, and could be used in many ways. There were even records of telekinetic Zarra whose descendants can be found here and there through the Ring. Lothol got this power from his mother, of course. Seraid's shields and manifestations are much more impressive than Lothol's... and his younger sister Samia is getting to be better at it than him as well. Being half Gearika just puts a damper on it and Lothol resents this, but works hard to change this.
An ability he inherited from his father, is the ability to control his dreams and 'dream walk' into the dreams of anyone else sleeping near him. HOWEVER, he is TERRIBLE at this. He's only accomplished it on his own a few times, maybe 6 times in his whole life. Otherwise, someone has to dream walk into his dreams and help him realize he's sleeping. Without that assistance, Lothol only has ordinary dreams, unable to control them and unaware he's dreaming. These types of REM sleep dreams are called Wild Dreams, and a Gearika with wild dreams is hardly a gearika at all.

21 is the signature of electricity he naturally gives off. Most Zarra fall in the 3-18 range, giving Lothol a unique signature.
d is the pattern of his electrical signature. d means that for every heartbeat, Lothol's signature cycles 4 times, like a fast-paced beat.
The 1 stands for Lothol being the first Zarra on record with a 21d signature in the year he was born.
1703 is the year Lothol was born. Zarra is currently in the 19th calendar, however, so their world has been keeping track of years MUCH longer than just 1703 years.
There are 6 patterns in electrical signatures. The cycles are measured at resting heart rate. When the heart is beating quickly, such as after running, the cycle rate may be slightly different, and shouldn't be used as the cycle pattern in the Zarra's name.

Lothol graduated at the top of his class when he went to school on Zarra, and third from the top when he went to the Gates sponsored Tower Academy.
He can play basics on a guitar, and is accustomed to being on stage. His cousin and Father are trying to teach him to play his own music.
He is the Lead singer of Screaming by Proxy- a band lead by his cousin, Egacka.
At Gates, he works as a Box Breaker Agent on Team Spinebash- also run by Egacka.
He doubles as a Pose to Egacka, the team's controller- showing how closely they trust one another.
Lothol likes to Ice Skate in the Winter, and also does Slacklining in the trees near his home.
His mother, Seraid, remarried and had a daughter- Lothol's half-sister, Samia. As of turning 12, she was officially taller than Lothol. His stepfather's name is Sannon.
Lothol used to have a Geari all his own, named Krosict- he stole her from a farm, but was killed in a traumatic attack by Samudoches on Huldhel.
Because of this, Lothol has a deep fear of Dogs.
Lothol is a natural story-teller when you get him in the mood, and some of his favorite stories to tell are of the Gearikan Pantheon.
While it may be a joke, Lothol has insisted more than once that he intends to become some sort of Gearikan God himself.

The Zarra, Ring is a series of life sustaining, constructed planetoids that revolve around a white dwarf star. There are 4 Sections of the Ring.
-Zarra- Main Section. The Leader AI was first constructed in this Section. The main Section has the largest population, and is made up of, city planetoids.
-Sarra- Second Section. With the growth of Zarra, Section Sarra was created for farming animals, plants, and insects for consumption.
-Charra- Third Section. The Wildlife section- Each planetoid has specific biomes to house non-domesticated fauna and flora.
-Sharra- Recreation Section. Both home to places for the young to visit for fun and estates for the elderly to age comfortably at and pass on in.
Each Section of the ring hosts 30 planetoids. Lothol lives on the 15th of the Sarra section. Seraid specializes in farming giant water lily roots.
