One of the most common criticisms lobbied at the Order of Wayfarers (often by those that do not know Wayfarer's themselves) is that they have little personal freedom or individuality, operating with an almost hive-like efficiency and a very specific thought-process dictating their collective worldview. While there is some truth to these claims, none could ever apply such an accusation to Albion. Unlike the myriad peoples throughout the Galactic Triangle that join the Wayfarers to escape their home society, "Albie" as he is known, had opted to escape the Wayfarers, taking on a role as a deep space Hunter Liaison as soon as he was deemed able.

In addition to his shirking of the standard Wayfarer dress code, opting away from the blue and gold standard for red and white, he is often quite lazy, drinks regularly, has developed considerable skill in pickpocketing (for completely altruistic reasons, or so he claims), and is often rather sexually assertive. Though he may not be the typical sort of Wayfarer, he fills exactly the role that the burgeoning crew of the Hachimitsu Haitatsunin required of him. The fact that he now works on a ship surrounded by gorgeous women is just a bonus to the significant paychecks.
