Kitty's PA, on the outside it seems that he's often doing his own sort of thing.
In reality, Jake has the ability to inhabit other people's bodies: leaving his and taking over another in varying degrees of strength. He often works alongside (or perhaps, inside) Kitty and Doug, doing covert work behind the scenes or being another voice in their head to steer the conversation. He's friends with both of them, and it's not entirely sure what the full extent of their dynamic is.
Whatever body he is in control of the eyes turn purple, when out of his body brown eyes return and the body goes into a comatose state. 'Nobody's home' taking to an extreme.
