Some people know where they come from. Others don't, and those individuals generally either wish to know or else they don't care. Jade is firmly in that middle category—she knows who her father is, but only knows her mother by name, and the vague history spat at her whenever she would ask as a child only made her grow more curious. So curious, in fact, that she set off one day after a particularly nasty argument with her father just so she could find out for herself.

✧ First Face : The World.
Jade seems to be unaffected by the people around her. She's never the type to enjoy being center of attention, so she's often just a bystander in someone else's adventure—an observer. She can come off as mean and antisocial given the fact that she rarely smiles and doesn't go out of her way to start a conversation.
In cases where she does talk to people, she doesn't like to talk too much and usually lets others interpret her words as they wish.
✧ Second Face: Close ones.
She's not a very affectionate person, and even with those she's close to, she seems almost... professional. She speaks more, and about more mundane things, so she is noticeably more open and talkative when she's around someone she's used to.
To Jade, friendship is a form of agreement. It's something that could have unspoken terms and conditions that she's unaware of. She likes to tread lightly. She'll go out of her way to help a friend in ways she wouldn't help a stranger, but she does prefer to get paid back for it at some point. In other words: she's kinder to her friends and allies, but she doesn't do complete charity.
✧ Third Face: True Reflection.
While Jade may seem calm, collected, mature, and perhaps even boring to some, she doesn't feel that way. If anything, she'd be surprised if anyone told her that was what they thought of her. She feels like a toddler barely getting her first legs out in the "real world" where everything is fucking crazy.
It's why she observes, why she prefers to hang back and let others steer a conversation. She believes she never has anything substantial to add. Everyone she meets seems to have some grasp on how things work that will always be better than her own point of view, so she tries to learn, and in the process somehow manages to convince everyone else she knows what she's doing.
A young woman whose blonde hair is braided into three sections (two shorter braids in the front with a single longer one in the back). Her amber eyes are marred by a scar, causing the right one to take on a milky, faded appearance.
Build. athletic, a little stocky
— broad shoulders, more of a rectangular body shape than an hourglass, but still has curves from the muscle—like, in her arms and legs. big thighs, toned biceps, that sort of thing.

— the scar across her eye is the unfortunate result of childhood ignorance. jade got carried away playing by the river during summer, slipped, and split her face on a jagged rock.

— her voice is just smooth. not a hint of a rasp, and it's a deep sort of pitch that makes her sound a bit stoic. (she IS stoic, but still.)

— she's one of those people whose eyes are just slightly lidded, as in she doesn't really open them all the way, which can give her a little rbf
— since she's blind in her right eye, she's got skewed depth perception. although she's grown accustomed to her environment despite it, she favors her sighted side by a large margin.

— she's not personally a fan of showing skin since she's used to it being cold for most of the year—thus, wearing something revealing makes her feel vulnerable because it's not common attire for her.

— Moontail's thoughts towards Jade
✧ First Encounter and Impressions.
Jade and Moontail basically grew up together. She remembers Moon being there from her first memory onward, so she assumes they've been together basically their whole lives. Moontail is roughly the same age as Jade, if not a month or two older, so they closely bonded to one another being young together.
They've just... always been friends. There's never a day Jade thought Moontail would leave her, at least permanently, sothe first impressions were neutral but also good.
✧ Attitudes and Dynamic.
Due to their time together, they have learned one another's mannerisms to every degree possible. As such, they can read each other's tells and know when the other is feeling any emotion. It's very convenient as Moontail can pull Jade out of an uncomfortable situation, but it can also cause problems as they both work to defend the other without thinking about the consequences of doing so, such as if Jade had to pretend and Moontail didn't understand why she hid her discomfort or fear but acted on it anyway.
They love each other like siblings (and bicker the same way). That's it.
✧ Hopes for the Future.
Jade isn't much of a future person. She prefers to live in the present. She has no hopes for change, and just wishes things could stay as they are in terms of how she is with Moontail.
- Moontail got his name because of the crescent-shaped bone molded at the very tip of his tail, one that Jade has sharpened so he can almost use it as a scythe-type weapon rather than just a hammer to smash things (and people) apart. Now he can slice! How great!
