Mottledstar is a family-man through and through; he just wants what's best for them, and he wants to keep them all safe and happy and together - no matter what he has to do to achieve that. Is it too much trouble to ask to be surrounded by those he loves? Overall, he has a personality that most would call "noble" - someone who leans more on the side of traditional and righteous in their beliefs and morals. He follows the warrior code, but, most importantly, he follows his own; resolute with his own knowledge of right and wrong. And Mottledstar is a rather stickler to his own set of rules; number one is family comes first. But that isn’t to say he’s a pushover! Not at all! Well, not entirely… his spine is kind of made of putty when it comes to his family asking him for anything, with his friends at a close second. [Kits in general are a close third - he can’t help it! Their big ol’ eyes just stare into your soul.]
While Mottledstar isn’t someone who jokes around or goofs off, he isn’t rigorously serious either. He’s more of a gentle giant with a partially-cloudy demeanor: kinda sunny with a chance of a straight face and a hint of anxiety. But behind that is someone with a huge heart and soul.
Lately, though, his anxiety has only gotten worse. He’s gone from having his family with him to being alone in camp. Mottledstar is proud of his family for going out to try to help PeakClan, but he’s starting to feel like they’ve left him behind - whether they wanted to or not. He’s been wavering back and forth between pushing himself to distraction or pushing himself to live in their name - not sure which is the right choice. To remember and move on? Or to remember and remain stagnant?

Design
An extremely welcoming cat with the most friendly and accepting aura he can manage to put off. Woody always seems to have the beginnings of a smile on his face, no matter who or what he’s looking at; it’s hard to tell if that’s just the way it rests or if he puts conscious effort into it.
His pelt is ginger and rather short, easy to be kept clean, of which he is thankful for as it can usually be found dusty and dirty after cleaning up around the camp. It’s patterned by mackerel tabby stripes, giving him a brighter color than his base coat alone wound give; the most vibrant of these markings are the V-stripes across his chest and neck. Woody has a round, prominent belly, protruding outward when he sits or lays down and hanging low when he’s not. However, under all that is dense muscle, as his job requires plenty of manual labor. He has rounded, droopy blue-grey eyes that hold a twinkle of love and mischief in them. The area around his eyes and mouth are permanently creased from how much he laughs and smiles.
Woody is rarely seen tense, instead adopting a loose and lazy way of getting from place to place. There’s no rush to living life, after all.
