"I don't understand what the problem is, everything will be fine! Trust me!"
While being a tarnished that could once see the light of grace, Jon never intended to fight his way to the Erdtree in hopes of becomming the Elden Lord. For him, the greatest joy is in traveling the road with his friends and getting inspired to write songs along the way. With the right circumstances, a song could be just as long-lived and well-remembered as an Elden Lord. And without most of the bloodshed and devastation to come with it!
Jon's a simple and carefree man who would do anything for the people he cares about, and will do anything to keep him safe. It's both a perk and a flaw for him; often times he means well but will only manage to spark the ire of someone because of how reckless he is. He's a man who practices both self-care and self-destruction. At the same time. It's quite a sight, really.

Personality
For someone who spent most of their time as a child of the streets, seeing just about every dark and horrible thing that could be done to a person....Jon turned that trauma and made something out of it. He has an incredibly cheery disposition and outlook on life, and in turn does his absolute best to help others do the same. The downside to this though is that it's very easy to take advantage of his kindness.
Notes
- Has a very hard time detecting when people are lying and happen to have ulterior motives which absolutely bites him in the ass.
- An absolute master of bad decisions; Jon has to constantly be pulled away from joining blood cults, assassination groups and the occassional crazy religion. it's like he has a built in radar for them.
- While he doesn't quite look the part, Jon is always on the hunt to find some sort of affection from others. he craves it so deeply that he would look for it in the very worst of people.
Notes
- Has prominent facial scars through his left eyebrow and on the left side of his mouth
- He's missing his index finger on his left hand, and wears a prosthetic for it
Jon offered Dara a meal and a song when he very first met him, dirty and haggard outside of Stormveil Castle. It didn't take long for the two to develop a steadfast friendship, albiet with (more than) a few stumbles along the way. There's not a single person in the Lands Between that he trusts more than Dara, and when romantic feelings started to blossom, he knows he'll be with him for the rest of his life.
Oh Rogier, with your big silly hat and your dumb silly smile. Jon took to the sorcerer like a bird takes to air; he's incredibly fond of the man and his passing left a colossal hole in his heart. He promised Rogier that he would look out for Dara and stay true to his word, and he's never faltered from his promise for a moment.
Jon has found himself quite infatuated with the war surgeon, instantly interested in the man's demeanor and mystery. The two have developed something of a relationship but it's hard to tell if it's actually something good, or just a chance for Varré to manipulate the man into something he was never meant to be.
