William comes from a long line of blood-colored Hellions and pigment mutations run rampant through his family. William's uncle Victoire as well as his own daughter Diedre share his Albinism, and his grandmother Rosalyn, aunt Beryl and sister Dahlia all have Erythrism. Being Albino has never bothered Will, aside from being prone to viral infections as a cub he's healthy and sees himself as normal. A very humble and polite male, he seems to make friends wherever he travels. He met his mate after braving the lands of Frigore and being snowy white, was seen as a valuable asset to the pride living there. He lived with Caerula and her family for a few years before their leader disappeared without warning and a huge storm broke the pride up, forcing them to flee the land in search of safer territory.
