Claret lives up to her namesake. Her mother's age caused problems for her before she was even born, and she came into the world with two different blood disorders: Hemophilia and Anemia. The two combined make her rather sickly and weak as a cub, and although as she ages she becomes healthier and stronger, she is still rather delicate and anything more than minor wounds could potentially kill her. Because of this, she is sheltered as a cub and not often allowed to play with others her age, including her own brother. In her solitude, she learned ways to keep herself entertained, often playing pretend and expanding her imagination.
